Our Motivation

The churches and chapels of France are beautiful and meaningful. They bear witness to a rich and deep heritage, passed over the centuries. Sculpted in stone, decorated with stained glass, they house a precious spiritual and cultural memory. They link epochs, communities, and landscapes.In their silence resonates with the life of villages, the priests, and the parties shared. Each bell tower is a familiar presence, a landmark, a breath of history.

Restoring, preserving, valuing these places means making a living part of our collective identity, between visible beauty and deep meaning.

Pascal Genelot

Founding President

In January 2025, Pascal Genelot created the Fonds de Dotation France Terre de Clochers, driven by the desire to preserve and transmit to future generations the churches and chapels that are essential to the beauty of French heritage and to the soul of the French. From the very beginning, this initiative has attracted the support of patrons, who have contributed with
generosity in supporting his action.

Today President of the Fund, Pascal Genelot devotes himself entirely to it, driven by the conviction that this work deserves to be amplified. He wants to be joined by others who share this commitment in order to strengthen and sustain the already promising momentum.
